Norwegian Wings is planned to be a series of books on aircraft that have operated in or over Norway, or flown by Norwegian crew. This scope covers aircraft operated in Norwegian military and civilian service, Luftwaffe and Lufthansa operations in Norway during WW2, Allied operations on Norway during WW2, and aircraft flown by Norwegian crew worldwide.

The books are aimed at aircraft enthusiasts, aviation historicans and scale modellers with interest in the portrayed aircraft types or in Norwegian aviation history. The writing is bilingual, with Norwegian and English text.

Each book will describe the type's development and its use within the scope of the series. A short description on international service is also included. The various variants are described, and are illustrated by scale plans. Colour and markings are described in writing and with numerous colour profiles. A modelling section describes how to build a representative model, in different scales. The books are illustrated by photographs throughout.
